The Computer Vision Systems Group has existed since 1987, and its current work focuses on advanced machine learning optimalisation and computer vision methods, including semantic interpretation of model behavior, multimodal processing and registration of visual data, object detection in satellite imagery, and specialized applications—from personalized occlusal splint design to 3D data visualization, emphasizing effectiveness, scalability, and high-quality image analysis.
The group’s co-founder and long-time head was Dr. Eng. Ryszard Winiarczyk. The Computer Vision Systems Group is now led by Associate Professor Krzysztof Domino.
